"Seaspary. Friendly welcome, lovely stay on Criccieth seafront. We had a lovely welcome from Manya and Mike when we checked in. We were shown to a large room at the front with a double bed, 2 single beds, seating area, handbasin. The beds were REALLY comfortable, best sleep for ages. The breakfast was served in the cosy dining room where we helped ourselves to fruit juice, cereals, yogurt and fruit before the hot breakfast was brought to us by Mike. The bacon was delicious (not the often fatty tasteless variety) and poached eggs cooked to perfection. The toast and tea were plentiful. It certainly set us up for the day. The bedroom was huge and the view......no need to explain. If you haven't been to Criccieth before or for a while, make sure you check availability at Seaspray. We'll definitely be going back. "Fabulousexperience Absolutely lovely. Manya and Mike, mine hosts could not have been nicer, nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless and very comfortable, we had a large room overlooking the sea which was fantastic watching the sea at its most brutal and on its best behaviour!! A very good base for exploring the area with plenty of public transport by bus or train. Cant wait to go back"

"A get away After a very busy time, we knew we could rely on the hosts in this Bed and Breakfast, as we had visited before. Once again we were not disappointed. Rang to check availability and was so glad to talk to Mike..He gave me all the information I needed..such a personal touch! When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly couple who showed us our room... spacious and with the Amazonzing sea view. Very clean,comfortable place..you do actually hear the sea all night. Great breakfast. Would love to go back... for the peaceful accommodation, sea beach just across the road, but more importantly for Mike and Manya... its hard to get such friendly personal touch ."

"Another great stay at the World's best B&B So another absolutely fantastic stay with Mike and Manya. The picture shows the view from just outside the front door and is truly breathtaking. There are three rooms on offer. A family room with private bathroom and sea view, a double room with sea view and ensuite and another double room without sea view. It doesn't matter which room you have they are all spotless and beautifully decorated. You are shown to your room by Mike or Manya and for newbies the tea/coffee and facilities are pointed out. Your are given the menu for breakfast and asked to complete this for the next morning. A great choice of cereal, cooked breakfast, yoghurt, fruit tea and freshly made coffee. When the breakfast arrives after a peaceful night of listening to the restul sounds of waves breaking on the shore, it is superbly tasty and the only word to describe it is perfect. Try the poached eggs which are perfectly cooked. Some travel advice from Mike is always freely available, he can point you to nice walks in the area or tell you about the best places to visit on the peninsula. Your stay is always too short as we always leaving longing to go back to that comfortable bed. A relaxing place to stay with tremendous hosts and great food."

"‘Eggcellent’ stay We stayed at Seaspray for a night after climbing snowdon. The owner, Mike, and his family were friendly, welcoming and informative. The rooms are big, bright and clean. For good measure they even taught us the way to perfectly poach an egg every time."

"What a view! Me and my wife decided we would have a couple of days rest in Criccieth after visiting it last year on a day trip. The Seaspray Guest House caught our eye as it was right on the beach with amazing views across the bay to Shell Island (another favourite of ours). The guest house looks like it’s had a recent kick of paint unlike others on the terrace and looked more inviting. We had booked the two days directly with Manya who greeted us at the door on our arrival and subsequently introduced to Mike who is her husband. Manya showed us to the room and went through an obviously well practiced talk on the room, the private bathroom and where to go/eat which is also in a brochure to be found on the side cabinet. All of which paled in comparison to the spectacular view from the bay windows in Room 2. Room two is actually a family room which we booked just in case our 17 year old daughter wanted to come also. As it transpired she had other plans so it was just the two of us ?. We had arrived late in the afternoon so had started to get hungry and Manya had recommended the Castle Inn which as it turns out is a must for anyone staying in Criccieth. We came back to the room and sat for hours watching the sea and the beach casting fishermen attempting to bring in the catch of the day. Our subsequent sleep was a good restful one as the bed was supportive and warm. Breakfast was to be served between 8:30 and 9am and a pre filled out form which was handed in the day before made sure you got exactly what you wanted for breakfast. A selection of cereals and juices were available also. Bacon, sausage, eggs (however you wanted them), grilled tomato, beans, mushrooms and toast (white or brown) pot of tea or a cafetière of very nice coffee was to be had. The weather was unfortunately quite unpleasant so we decided to stay indoors watching the sea. Which my wife and I love to do whilst sipping Prosecco, later we did venture out and availed ourselves of the local area and public houses ?. To sum up our stay, we definitely will be going back to stay at the Seaspray Guest House and have already decided to go back later this year when the weather is less clement. A big thank you to Manya and Mike for being wonderful hosts."

"What a find! While planning a U.K. road trip, a visit to Wales had to be part. My husband wanted to be close to Snowdonia and the hills - I wanted to be by the water. Criccieth - with a castle even - sounded perfect, and Seaspray looked to be a perfect spot in Criccieth- and it was. We booked late so missed out on the viewroom, but room #3 was fine. The bed was comfy, the window opened and let the breeze in and there was tea (or coffee) and cookies each afternoon. Hot shower, super clean. We had a huge breakfast the first morning and had to half it on subsequent days! Manya and Mike were wonderful, going out of their way to make sure everything was just as we liked - squidgey eggs and all! Make sure to listen to Mike's suggestions on what to do - the walk between Criccieth and Porthmadog was a real highlight for us, and he set us up with more places to check out as we drove on. I hope one day we can return!"

"Simply great! We stayed in room 4, quite large and very comfy. The windows are just in front of the sea and the sound of the waves will cuddle you at night. The bathroom is quite big with a nice shower. Breakfast is very good. Overall an excellent experience!"

"Loved our stay in Seaspray! We stayed here 4 nights with our two 14 yr old boys and we loved it. Very nice and clean rooms. Great hospitality! You don't need a tourist guide with Mike around. We followed his tips and advice every day and were never disappointed. When our boys got themselves all wet by a big wave hitting the quay, Manya washed and dried their clothes. Good breakfast. Can't think of anything that wasn't good. If we ever come back to Criccieth, we know where to stay!"

"Great B&B in a beautiful area!! We stayed at this B&B In July 2016. We absolutely loved our stay. Mike & Manya were very welcoming.. They are the most genuine and kind hearted people who could not do enough for you. Manya let us borrow some books and leaflets about Portmeirion when she learned we were going there. Mike also suggested some brilliant places to visit such as Beddgelert. We stayed in room 4 which was lovely and comfortable with a stunning sea view. The sounds were so very relaxing. There is a coastal walk we took just about every night and almost every night we even spotted a seal! Breakfasts were amazing and so tasty we looked forward to it every morning. We HIGHLY recommend a stay here and we will be returning ourselves."

"A gem in North Wales What a great location for a relaxing break. On the sea front but at the quiet end of Criccieth (even though there is no noisy part)! Had a generous size sea view room in this exceptionally clean guest house. Mike was a friendly and helpful host despite having to do all the work (get well soon Manya). Lovely breakfast with local produce. Will definitely go back when I'm in North Wales again."

"Superb I chose the seaspray after finding it on trip advisor and seeing the great reviews. I can only agree with the majority. We arrived at about 7.00 pm due to my wife finishing work then heading down here. We easily parked at the front of the guest house and received a warm welcome from Mike, we were shown to our room which was very nice, big, comfy bed, the usual tea/coffee facilities and a good bathroom with good shower. A Seaview room would've been better with the lovely view right on the seafront, maybe next time! Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order, including cereals and fruit.
